Tech Tots/Tech Tools Lending Library
The Tech Tots/Tech Tools Lending Library is located at Children's Rehab Center at 3004 W. Faidley Ave in Grand Island, NE. Tech Tots/Tech Tools provide adapted toys and devices to children with developmental and physical disabilities, at no cost to families. Tech Tot services the youngest children developmentally and Tech Tools offers more sophisticated adaptations. The types of technology/toys available include puzzles, musical and vibrating toys, sound activated toys, switches, games, and much more. Grand Island is one of four locations in Nebraska for Tech Tools Technology program funded by UCP Nebraska.
Families may come in and check out the toys for a period of 4 weeks to take home for their child to enjoy. You may contact Deb Phinney or Mary Brand at the Children's Rehab Center at (308) 398-5170 to set up a time to come in and check out toys or for more information.
